Fender '52 Reissue Telecaster  (SOLD!!!)

I took this guitar in partial trade for a Proulx OM/D.  Ever since I sold the Relic Parts-O-Tele, I'd been sort of Jones'in for another "classic" looking Telecaster.  Plus, I'd never owned a '52 RI and every Telecaster-lover oughta have at least one.  This guitar also had some nice upgrades and so, I took it in partial trade, knowing I'd play with it a bit and then probably sell it down the line.

These are just great looking Telecasters, IMHO.

As you can see in this shot, this guitar came with Glendale compensated saddles.  The low E and A are steel and the others are brass.  I liked 'em pretty well, but when it was time to sell, I included them with the guitar.  Guitar also came with Seymour Duncan "Vintage Stack" stacked-humbuckers wired to a push-pull knob.  When I got the guitar, the push-pull was the tone and the stacks were set automatically "on".  I re-wired it according to Duncan's website with the push-pull on the volume and the stacks set automatically "off".  The "Vintage Stacks" were pretty good sounding pickups and having the extra punch of the humbuckers would probably be nice in a gigging situation.  Pretty quick, though, a buyer came my way and I let this guitar go.  My B-Bender Tele has pretty much the same neck and this was just redundant.  I enjoyed having a '52 RI in the house, though.
